- What is your monthly traffic (uniques, visits, page views) for the past 6 months? You can share your Google Analytics account (if you have one) with my login. Contact me for my GA login email.
- How much total monthly revenue does the site generate and what are the top 5 sources of that revenue?
- What are the sites monthly expenses for the past six months, by category?
- What maintenance tasks must be performed on a daily basis to operate the site?
- Have you ever been threatened legally regarding the site (copyright/DMCA, trademark, slander) and if so, what was the outcome?
- Do you have unpaid moderators that would likely continue moderating the site indefinitely?
- From the vb control panel: signups by day for past 6 months, posts by day for last 6 months, new threads by day for last 6 months, number of active users within past 30 days.
- Are there any other particularly interesting points about the site, like high keyword rankings, media coverage, etc?

I’ve established a budget to acquire quality forums for sums that are reasonable and that make sense economically - no one ’s throwing around money.
I’m very impressed with your site, Scott. You’ve just highlighted in this post some very useful figures to ask for when buying a site.
Like you, we’re always looking to buy forums as well. User generated content is the way to go IMO.
