Comments on: MerchantCircle.com Encourages Companies To Delete Bad Reviews

I’ve had a couple of reviews taken off of MerchantCircle and I did notice what the author pointed out in the blog right after my first was removed. It got me so upset that I have now made it my mission to rewrite my review every few months just to make sure no one else falls in the same trap as I did with that company. This may seem extreme, but they were a terrible company and removing bad reviews is just the icing on the cake.

This is ridiculous and I agree that this site holds no credit because of this.

It has nothing to deal with disgruntled employees or anyone trying to “stalk” you as a business owner. It has to deal with businesses hiding the fact that they don’t have very good service and tricking potential customers.

Although this particular page isn’t one of the first that comes up in a Google search of “Merchant Circle” I’m very glad that there are a couple on the first page that criticize Merchant Circle for this.

I appreciate the ability to delete any reviews that needs to be deleted, especially if you have a disgruntled ex-employee. They are the ones that gives a company the bad reviews because you had to fired them and they need to make themselves look better.

Your logic couldn’t be more flawed. Yes, merchantcircle is local and ResellerRatings is online/stores/retail. But the premise is the same: customer reviews of businesses. In no circumstance EVER, should a business be allowed to pick and choose which reviews to allow, local or online, it does not matter. You think a plumber should be able to reject a bad review and an online retailer should not? Your argument fails.

I’m all for these kind of sites connecting merchants and consumers but I believe that the original reviews should remain but with a followup. It should also no longer count negatively towards the merchant (if the issue has been resolved).

Why don’t you finally admit that you are all in the wrong of using my copyright name without permission. On website a U.S.Law. copyrighted and all rights reserved.
Kay’a A Gift of Heart removed all copyright ads with my name and her business because I have the proof of her email “apology forgiven”and now she can’t lie anymore. Just wanted to make a name for herself on Merchant Circle. All advertisement was for that network with her store Kay’s A Gift of A Heart.

This article is irrelevant. Merchant circle allows business other then STORES to get themselves online. The ResellerRatings site they compare Merchant circle to is NOTHING like merchant circle. So what they allow people to delete bad reviews, it is still a great site for finding local contractors and service businesses in your area. ResellerRatings is just for retail stores which I agree should not be allowed to delete reviews ie. for poor products and bad transactions. But a local plumber who fixes grandmas shower and charges a good price but gets a bad review because she didn’t feel that way should definitely be able to delete the review.

Ok i guess you just don’t get the hint to stop. I am tired of asking nicely to stop using my name or referencing me in your comments. You are being watched, i told you this before. Now that you don’t have the maturity to stop. Maybe the authorities will make you stop. I explained to you why i banned you from my site. This and all your messages bad mouthing me is perfect example why no one wants to do business with you. I am serious. Please stop and go on with your life and business. There are to many sites you can join to do business on to keep talking about mines and others. You screwed up and you got your punishment. Grow up. This is getting out of hand. Oh by the way. I don’t use your name and i would like to see the proof. You are already known to make false claims. For the last time. Please keep my name out of your mouth. I have already inquired an attorney and like i said before. You are being watched. If you don’t stop, the next step will be of a legal kind. I do not and have not ever used your business name anywhere. If you see your ads all over the place. Then stop posting them. If you are this upset that i banned you from my site. Then all the comments, blogs, and what ever else you have posted validates why you are not welcome to my or any other site. If you made a mistake you should have left it at that. The only thing i have done is reviewed evidence against you from the beginning. Now if your original emails to the people you mention were to ever get out. Then your words would turn into smut. It would be wise if you stopped trying to get famous by bad behavior. I see your scam. It only works for celebrities with careers that are about to tank. You are treading in dangerous waters. No one in America will take this kind of abuse from you for to long and i am one of them that will not take it for long. You have been warned. Reminder, next step will be legal action. Oh by the way. If you didn’t get a response from your Copy Rights People. Then maybe you are a fony all around or you have no proof to prove your case to them. Please stop and just conduct your business and leave it at that.
